Pop Art Packaging

Student art teacher Ms. Churas helps 5th graders with their pop art designs.

Senufo Cloth Drawings

Influenced by the Senufo people of Mali, Burkina Faso, and the Ivory Coast in Africa,

5th graders drew animal images and completed them with a variety of patterns.

They painted the backgrounds with earthy hues made by combining primary and secondary colors.

"Dem Bones" Dancing Band

Influenced by the Day of the Dead celebration in Mexican culture, 5th graders drew symmetric and proportioned skeletons, then cut and rearranged them into asymmetric poses. They added musical instruments and glittery detail to their skeleton collages.
