I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. My work experience includes working in a Hospital Setting for 8 years and then 29 years at Kenosha Unified School District servicing elementary, middle, and high school students. My goals are to collaborate/consult with staff & families to focus on the whole child; foster a love for learning through multi-sensory activities; promote functional independence for students; help regulate emotions and body awareness. I have been happily married for 33 years to my husband, Jeff, and have two wonderful children: a boy and a girl. My daughter is married and works as an Early Childhood Educator. My son lives in Denver, Colorado and works in finance. My hopes and beliefs are to work on creating relationships with students, families, and staff to foster a fun, learning environment for all students to succeed.
