I am happy to say that this is my 32nd year of teaching at Forest Park Elementary School! I taught eight years in first grade and now 24 years in second grade. I attended Kenosha public schools. In fact, I was a student at Forest Park from Kindergarten through fourth grade. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I also received my Master of Science in Teacher Leadership from Carthage College. I have also been trained on being a cooperating teacher, and have had the pleasure of working with several student teachers over the years. In addition, I have tutored several students over the years in reading and math. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a husband and two daughters, 28 and 25. I also have my little dog, Millie, that I look forward to seeing at the end of the day! I enjoy riding my bike, exercising with Mrs. Brinkman, spending time with family and friends, knitting, and crocheting. Forest Park has been my home for most of my life. I look forward to being with my students each day and bringing out the best in them. I try to make learning fun and take great pride in their accomplishments. Forest Park is a wonderful community of staff, students, and families.
