I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in German Cultural Studies (French Minor) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. In addition, I earned a Master’s Degree in Differentiated Instruction for at Risk Learners from Marian University in Fond du Lac. I am currently working on certification for the Gifted and Talented throught the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. My background in education includes serving as the Forest Park Instructional Coach 2012 – 2016. I previously taught at Jefferson Elementary for 16 years as a fifth grade classroom teacher. I have also taught 3rd, 4th and 6th grades and museum workshops on Space Education. I have several years experience as a restaurant manager and worked as the Executive Secretary for the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. I spend summers living off the grid in Northern Ontario, Canada with my husband who runs a tourist camp. (I am an avid fisherman and summer hostess!) In the colder months, my husband runs back and forth between Kenosha, Western Canada and Alaska to work as a well site geologist. I am also the mother of a lovely daughter who resides in Burbank, California.
