Hello there!  I am Ms. Scarmardo, one of the new art teachers at Forest Park.  I teach at Forest Park on Tuesdays and teach the rest of the week at Brass Community School.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1989 from Minneapolis College of Art and Design.  I received my teaching credentials from Carthage College and Master’s Degree from National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction.  I taught in the early 90’s in Highland Park, IL before taking a “teaching break” to stay home with my young children.  I have been teaching in Kenosha Unified since 2000.  I have taught elementary art in many buildings over the years including Jane Vernon, KSOL, Durkee, Lincoln, EBSOLA, Jefferson and currently….Brass and Forest Park.  I have had a wonderful time getting to know your students and sharing with them my passion for art.  When I am not teaching….I am busy being mom to my 3 children.  I have a son  at U.W. Plattteville,  and a son and daughter at Bradford.
